George, Diana and Emma will attend the 2016 Charter Symposium to be held in Adelaide in February. These events provide valuable opportunities for sharing knowledge and networking with other advisers to ensure we are well informed and up to date with relevant rules, regulations and legislation which may affect our industry and our clients.

George attended the FPA conference which was held in Brisbane.
Diana Rogers recently completed her Masters of Applied Finance. Diana was invited to attend a graduation ceremony at the Arts Centre in Melbourne where she was presented with her graduation certificate. Congratulations to Diana on a job well done!
George received an invitation from Prof. John Grable to visited Georgia University and give a presentation on FoFA to Financial Planning students.
George attended the FPA (USA) conference held in Boston, Massachusetts this year. A paper regarding FoFA changes that George had prepared was circulated to all International attendees.
George and Bill Lawrence (Brisbane) gave a joint presentation on the latest FoFA changes which are now law.

BENDIGO CFA's George Flack starred in the cross-country and track racing at the Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games in Melbourne.
A long-time athlete, Flack won silver in the men's 60-64 years division of the 5km cross-country run at Norton Park in Wantirna South.
In track events at Town Park in Croydon, Flack won the 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m, and silver in the 1500m and 5000m.
Flack regularly competes with Bendigo Athletic Club and Eaglehawk Athletic Club.
Others from the Bendigo area to compete at the Games were Ambulance Victoria's Brendan Ryan and Vic Police's Eric Baker.
The Bendigo trio have put forward a proposal to run the 2016 Games at Latrobe University Bendigo athletics complex in Bendigo.
George and David both attended the Charter Symposium which this year was held in Perth.
George attended the Australian Conference of the FPA (Aust) held in Adelaide, having missed the previous year's Sydney Congress which clashed with the American Convention George attended in Orlando FL in October 2013.
Charter Financial Planning asked George and his staff to be part of their fundraising program for Make a Wish Foundation.
George and Emma Baldwinson accepted the invitation and ran in the 15km fun run on Sunday 16th November, whilst Emma's partner Craig ran in the 5km fun run. Between them George and Emma raised around $1,000.
George returned to the USA for a brief trip in mid-September to attend the FPA (USA) convention. Members of the Asia Pacific Geographic Forum - of which George is one who represents Australia - met for 3 hours on Saturday 20th Sept 2014 to exchange more ideas. One of the ideas was to hold the next mid-year Forum in Sydney, Australia in March 2015.
A joint presentation was given by Bill Lawrence of Brisbane and George on the current Regulatory Changes in Australian Financial Services. They have been invited to provide a further joint presentation on the 2015 CE@Sea 8 day cruise around the British Isles starting on 9th August 2015.
Representatives of the FPA (USA)'s Asia Pacific Geographic Forum from 6 International Countries Australia, United States, Canada, Malaysia, Philippines and India met for 4 days between 7th and 10th March 2014. Taking a lunch break in between Financial Planning office visits.
Diana Rogers, one of Flack Advisory Service Group's Advisers, who not only received her Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning at a special Graduation ceremony at the Hotel Sofitel Melbourne by education provider Kaplan, was awarded “Top Australian Student” for one of her subjects; Investment Advice (FIN212).
Charter Financial Planning (our licensee) has annual awards to recognise the extraordinary value advisers provide to clients every day. These awards are called “Value of Advice Awards” and George Flack from Flack Advisory had been short-listed as a finalist for Victoria/Tasmania for the 2013 Value of Advice Awards.
The award recognises the advice strategies which have made a significant and material change to a client’s financial future or situation. Submissions for the awards illustrate how the adviser understood the client’s situation, considered various options and enriched their financial well being with financial advice.
On Tuesday 26th November 2013 the winner of the Value of Advice Awards was announced. It's heartiest congratulations to Mr Peter Gray. George stated that he was so proud to have been named a finalist in such a prestigious Award.
